Allow 30 minutes from Blackheath,

Follow the brown tourist sign to Megalong Valley and Shipley Plateau.

Cross the railway line at the traffic lights and then turn left.
Take the next right towards Shipley Plateau
Take the next left onto Megalong Road towards Megalong Valley.

Proceed through the beautiful rainforest past Coachwood Glen and then Blackheath Glen Campground.

Just after the Tea Rooms, turn right into Peach Tree Road.

From here, it is just over 7 km.

Take the left turn at the junction with Ward Road, which is a continuation of Peace Tree Road (No Through Road).

Approximately 2 km from here, the Megalong Valley Cat Retreat will be found on the left.

Drive safely. Keep left and watch for wildlife, horses and cattle.
